Total global health funding at CDC and NIH through the Labor HHS bill is not yet known, as funding for some programs (i.e. global HIV\/AIDS and malaria research) at NIH is determined at the agency level rather than specified by Congress in annual appropriations bills. Funding for global health programs at CDC totals $693 million in the bill and funding for global health research activities at the Fogarty International Center (FIC) at NIH totals $95 million; these are the same levels as the FY 2025 enacted amounts.<sup><a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a>,<a href=\"#_edn2\" name=\"_ednref2\">[ii]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See the table below for additional details on global health funding (downloadable table <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/KFF-Analysis-FY26-Senate-LHHS.xlsx\">here<\/a>).
